It is to mention that Supreme Court Verdict has announced one year conviction for cricketer turned politician Sidhu on the review petition filed by the victim family. The double bench of SC pronounced the order.
The Talks were doing rounds whole day long if Sidhu would be arrested by police or he would surrender. And finally, all assumptions came to halt when Sidhu wrote a post on @sherryontopp saying that he will surrender.

Earlier in the daytime, Sidhu was seen sitting on elephant and protesting against rising inflation. He along with his supporters marched through the lanes of Patiala to protest against inflation.

On the other side, it is preceived that Sidhu serving one year in jail, according to the SC verdict, would not effect his career as politician contesting for Lok Sabha or Vidhan Sabha elections, which could be said a sigh of relief for Sidhu.
