Chandigarh – Parents of slain singer Sidhu Moosewala have been seen at Mohali airport for boarding and check in. According to sources, the father Balkaur Singh and mother Charan Kaur are flying to England.
It may be recalled that Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur, parents of Sidhu Moosewala had given an ultimatum to Punjab Government to arrest the real culprits and murderers of Sidhu Moosewala. The father Balkaur Singh of slain singer has announced , a month ago , they would leave the country if they are not given justice.
The near associates of Moosewala’s family are saying the parents of Sidhu Moosewala are going to England to attend a cycle rally scheduled on November 24 there. The fans of Sidhu Moosewala living in England have been campaigning through cycle rally demonstration demanding justice in his murder case.
Deepak Tinnu , an accused in Sidhu Moosewala murder case had fled away from the custody of police. The incident was quite depressing for the parents of Moosewala, they got shattered and made an announcement if state government fails to arrest the culprits then they would take back FIR and leave country forever.
Charan Kaur and Balkaur Singh had started a signature campaign and people in large number have come in support of signature campaign. The parents of Sidhu Moosewala have met DGP after this. They had been saying the state is no more a safer place to live in now and people would have to be at their own, if the security issue is talked.
It is pertinent to mention, Sidhu Moosewala was murdered in broad daylight in a village of Mansa on May 29, the incident had sent shockwaves to his fans all over the globe Till now, around 25 accused have been arrested in this case.
