Canada – The Sikh leader in Canada who was shot dead Thursday morning in Surrey was going to his office in his car when three unidentified persons.

According to Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the attackers came in SUV (Range Rover ) , fired at Malik from point blank range. To destroy evidence, attackers set the car on fire leaving it away at about a kilometer distance from the firing spot.

The police is yet to trace the attackers. The investigation has been initiated to catch hold of the attackers.

Malik was a businessman, he migrated to Canada in 1972 and worked there as cab driver. He was leading a Finance company named Khalsa Credit Union at present.

Malik was a co- accused with other two persons in All India Kanishka boeing plane bombing off the coast of Ireland that had killed all 329 passengers onboard in 1985. The court case was proceeded in Canadian court and Malik was acquitted from the charges.
