NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Saturday said he will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss the Centre’s decision to extend BSF’s operational jurisdiction.
Recently, the MHA extended BSF’s jurisdiction to up to 50 km inside the international borders in Punjab, West Bengal and Assam. Notably, the decision has been criticised by the Punjab and West Bengal governments.
