Punjab Industries Minister Sunder Sham Arora today said that Gujjar brotherhood in Talwara of Hoshiarpur district would not be allowed to face any difficulty or hardship on account of milk selling by the community or as far as supply of essential items for their families was concerned.

In a statement issued here, Arora said that he was apprised Gujjar community which is involved in the business of selling milk was facing some difficulty in doing so due to lockdown besides facing hard time in getting food for their families. He said these problems have been resolved, and ration and other essentials have been made available to them.

District Administration Hoshiarpur has arranged for lifting of milk through a Milk Plant Gurdaspur vehicle to sell a part of it in Dasuya. He said that this issue has been resolved.
During this time of year, some of Gujjar brothers go to Himachal but this time due to lockdown the Himachal Government did not allow them entry, due to which they had to return, Arora further said reiterating that it would be ensured they don’t face any difficulty whatsoever.
