Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat asserted that there was no need to unite Hindus and Muslims as “they’re already together”.

“It has been proven that we’re descendants of the same ancestors from the last 40,000 years. People of India have the same DNA. Hindus and Muslims aren’t two (separate) groups,” said Bhagwat.
